About the Role
A well-established transport and logistics business operating across the South East is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of field-based sales professionals. This is a player-manager role carrying a personal new business target alongside team leadership responsibility.
What You Will Be Doing
- Leading, managing and developing a team of field-based sales executives across the South East
- Carrying a personal new business target across key accounts in the logistics sector
- Running weekly pipeline reviews and coaching sessions with the team
- Working with the commercial director on forecasting, territory planning and go-to-market strategy
- Building and maintaining relationships with key clients and prospects at a senior level
What We Are Looking For
- Proven experience in a sales management or team leadership role
- Background in transport, logistics, supply chain or related B2B sales
- Strong coaching ability with a track record of developing sales team performance
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the South East
- Commercial acumen and ability to contribute to broader business strategy
