The people behind every placement

One approach. We believe recruitment works better when there are fewer people doing it more carefully. Every member of the Psixty UK team shares the same commitment to quality over volume.

16+ years in recruitment

Martin has been placing commercial talent since 2008. Named Consultant of the Year in 2009 and 2010, he has spent his career building the kind of recruiter-client relationships that most agencies only talk about. He co-founded Psixty UK because he believed there was a better way to recruit, and set about proving it.

Every search Martin runs starts the same way: a proper brief, an honest market conversation and a commitment to finding the right person rather than the fastest one.

"It is not a numbers game. It never has been."

Away from the deskFour-time Ironman finisher, keen golfer and serious food enthusiast. Martin applies the same level of commitment to everything he does.

Alex joined Psixty UK in January 2024, bringing hands-on sales experience from his time as an SDR at Skillsoft and an International Sales Apprentice at Global Knowledge. That commercial background means he understands exactly what it takes to perform in a sales role, which makes him a sharper judge of sales candidates than most.

He spent three months travelling South America between roles, which speaks to a curiosity and appetite for experience that shows up in how he works. Alex specialises in sales recruitment and builds the kind of candidate relationships that last well beyond the placement.

Theo joined Psixty UK and immediately assumed responsibility for office security, visitor vetting and the thorough inspection of all incoming lunch deliveries. With four years of experience in the role he has yet to let a suspicious character through unchallenged, though his definition of suspicious is somewhat broader than most.

His candidate assessment methodology involves sustained eye contact, a thorough sniff and an immediate decision. Hiring managers have noted this is actually faster than most recruitment processes.

"Woof." โ€” Theo, on the importance of company culture.
